Since its inception in 1991, the NBMBAA® Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT®) Program has mentored more than 8,000 talented youth aspiring to leadership roles in professional fields. The LOT® Program is a comprehensive programmatic approach for providing leadership development to high school students. The program is driven by mentoring across four developmental areas: Leadership, Financial Literacy, College Preparation and Career Preparation. The program offers participants resources, knowledge and opportunities in the way of mentoring relationships, scholarships, and internships.

High school students and mentors can join the Twin Cities Chapter of Leaders of Tomorrow®. The program helps students develop advanced skills and understanding in many areas, including:

– Networking
– Community engagement

– Habits and goal setting

Every fall the Twin Cities Chapter sponsors 5 students to attend the National LOT conference (at the NBMBAA Annual Conference & Exposition). An intensive schedule of workshops, interactive experiences, leadership challenges and discussions designed to empower young visionaries, train and motivate students to raise the bar in areas critical to their success. High school students from across the globe meet to push the boundaries of their potential and learn how to achieve accomplishments beyond their imagination. Students have access to extraordinary successful individuals and given the resources needed to chart their own course to maximize the promise of their future.
